I Phillip Moody of Southampton County Virginia being sick and weak of body but of sound and disposing mind and memory, and calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory life and knowing that all men must lie do think proper to make this my last will and testament in manner and,form following to wit Imprimis: I give devise and bequeath to my son Samuel Moody all that part of the plantation and lands that I bought of William Barnes which lies on the South west side of the broad swarmp which I suppose to contain near three hundred acres, also one negro woman named Cloe and her two chil_ dren Isaac and Abram, one walnut desk, one large iron pott two large pewter dishes and six plates, one feather bed and furniture, one Safe and one fine chest and to him and to his heirs and assigns for ever. Secondly: I give devise and bequeath to my son West Moody the remainder of the aforesaid plantation being all that part thereof which lies on the north east side of the bread swamp, and which I suppose to contain fifty acres also three negros viz. Jacob a man, negro woman Khoda, a negro boy Sambo One feather bed and furniture, one wallet oval table, two large pewter dishes and six plates one large iron pott & one potrack and to his heirs and assigns for ever Thiraly I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Moody my Negre woman Beck and her child Violet, and my negro boy Aaron, also one feather bed and furniture, ons beaufett, one bay mare one womans saddle and bridle, two large pewter dishes and six plutes, one walnut oval Table, One chest the best in the house and to her heirs and assigns for ever Fourthly All the remainder of me estate of every kind after my just debts are first paid ads I desire shall Be equally divided amongst all my children, viz. Samuel West and Elizabeth Moody and their heirs and assigns Lastly: I do hereby nominate, ordain, constitute and appoint my friends John Andrews, Josiah Vick, Stephen Johnson and Jordan Denson my whole and sole executoes to this my last will and testament hereby revoking and and disannulling all other wills by me heretofore made. I John Foster of Southampton County bering in perfect health & memory but calling to mind the mortality of my being, and knowing that it is or_ daind for all mmen once to die do make and ordain to be my last will and testament in manner and form following, first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of almighty God that gave it me and my body to be decently buried at the discretion of vry Executors. I Anne Crenshaw of Southampton County and State of Virginia being sick and weak of body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for it, buy calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing it is appointed for all to die, do make and ordain this last will and testament principally and first of all I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body to the ground to be buried at the discretion of my Eecutors, and as touching such worldly Estate which it has pleased God to bless me with, I give in the following manner and form.
